Dr. Scott Copeland grew up in Corning, NY.  He graduated from Bates College with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.  By his junior year at Bates, he had decided that he wanted to go to dental school, but specifically to specialize in Orthodontics and to open a small home office.  He went to Dental School, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from State University of New York Buffalo and then continued on to obtain his Master of Science (MS) degree in Orthodontics from the same school.  He has been published by the American Association of Orthodontists.

In trying to find a suitable location for his future home office, he decided to move to New England.  While living and working at a local practice in Lowell, Massachusetts, Dr. Copeland found a large historic home in Derry, NH.  He opened his practice in 1986.  (Our reception area used to be the old kitchen and our clinic area was formerly the living room.)

Soon after opening his office, he joined the Derry Rotary Club and is still an active member today.  Dr. Copeland loves the outdoors. He enjoys mountain biking, skiing, hiking and skydiving.  In 1998, he and 245 skydiving friends set a new World Record - for largest Formation Skydive.
